Koa Denko Factory

To support Koa Denko's industrial expansion in Malaysia, VSL designed and constructed the prestressed slabs for the four levels of the new 84,000 m² complex. During the design phase, the teams optimised the floor system to reduce materials and improve structural efficiency.

Thanks to this prestressing design, the amount of steel was reduced and the thickness of concrete decreased, generating significant savings and a lower carbon footprint — a key asset for more sustainable construction.
