Open-pit mining

The Tinguilinta mine in Guinea is DTP's first bauxite operation. Unlike gold mines, in addition to excavation, DTP crushes the ore and loads trains bound for the port of Kamsar. The site, which is shallow but very extensive, requires 75 trucks to transport the ore to the crushing area. DTP employs more than 1,000 Guinean workers.

Supporting regions through training and employment

Given the resources required, DTP established its own driver training school and opened it to people outside the company, which contributes significantly to the development of the local economy. The company supports local communities through tax contributions, donations to schools, and the creation of health centers.

Through these initiatives, DTP ensures that its activities have a lasting positive impact on the communities in which it operates.
