Dragages Singapore
A World-Class Sports Complex in Singapore
Under a public-private partnership, Dragages Singapore – Bouygues Bâtiment International’s subsidiary in Singapore - designed and built a state-of-the-art sports hub located on a 35-hectare seafront site in the heart of the city-state. The complex includes a 55,000-seat stadium with a retractable roof and air-conditioned seating, a 6,000-seat indoor aquatic center, a water sports center, a fully scalable 3,000-seat multifunction arena, an exhibition center, a sports museum, and dedicated office space for sporting associations.
The development also features 41,000 m² of commercial space, alongside food and beverage outlets, supporting both sports and community activities. The project includes management of an existing 12,000-seat sports and entertainment facility.

Innovative engineering and sustainable design
The stadium’s roof is supported by the “ring beam,” a monumental circular structure measuring one kilometer in length and holding 12,000 metric tons of steelwork. Dragages Singapore leveraged advanced 3D modelling to predict all factors affecting the ring beam, setting a world record for the largest dome with a free span of 312 meters. The Sports Hub received the BCA Green Mark 2012 Gold Plus award for its sustainable construction and was recognized as Best International Public-Private Partnership at the SIATI French infrastructure and land development summit with a gold trophy in 2015.
