Yyldyz Hotel

Perched on a hill overlooking the capital of Turkmenistan, the Yyldyz Hotel is a five-star luxury property designed to become a new landmark on the skyline of Ashgabat. Delivered by Bouygues Bâtiment International under a design-and-build contract, the project was completed in just 24 months.

Rising to over 100 metres, the tower stands out with its imposing teardrop-shaped silhouette, making it the largest hotel in the city. The 19-storey building houses 155 guest rooms, including high-end suites, and offers a full range of premium hospitality facilities:

• A 600-seat banqueting hall 
• A panoramic restaurant and bar 
• A nightclub 
• A high-tech spa and wellness area 

The hotel’s elevated location offers uninterrupted views over Ashgabat and the Kopet Dag mountains, reinforcing its status as a destination in its own right and a flagship reference for luxury hospitality in the region.

The Yyldyz Hotel combines architectural ambition with demanding technical execution. One of the project’s defining features is its curved unitised curtain wall façade, composed of structural glazing panels installed directly onto the concrete structure.

Each glazing panel was designed as a unique prototype, with specific dimensions and curvature, requiring precise coordination between design, fabrication and on-site installation. This bespoke approach allowed the building envelope to follow the tower’s fluid geometry while ensuring performance, durability and visual coherence.

Beyond the tower, the development includes extensive external amenities designed to enhance the guest experience: 
• A heated outdoor swimming pool and pool bar 
• Tennis courts 
• Landscaped gardens and promenade areas 
• Underground parking facilities
