A new landmark for Africa’s leading financial hub
BYMARO, a subsidiary of Bouygues Bâtiment International, delivered the Casablanca Finance City Tower, the new headquarters of Casablanca Finance City, Africa’s leading financial hub.
Completed after 36 months of construction, the tower stands at the heart of the Casablanca Finance City district and has quickly become one of its most emblematic landmarks. Built on the former Anfa airport site, the project plays a central role in the urban transformation of this strategic business district.
Designed by US architect Thom Mayne, in collaboration with Omar Alaoui, the tower reaches a height of 122 metres and rises over 28 storeys, complemented by six underground parking levels. It is today Casablanca’s second-highest building, after the Hassan II Mosque and ahead of the Twin Center.

An architectural and technical challenge mastered by BYMARO
With its futuristic appearance and innovative architectural expression, the Casablanca Finance City Tower represented a major technical challenge. Initially envisioned as a 27-storey building, the project evolved during development, requiring a high level of engineering expertise and adaptability from BYMARO’s teams.
The tower’s complex geometry and verticality demanded precise execution and close coordination between architectural, structural and construction teams. Successfully delivered, the project demonstrates BYMARO’s ability to manage high-rise, architecturally ambitious developments in dense urban environments.
Certified LEED Gold, the Casablanca Finance City Tower combines architectural performance with environmental ambition, reinforcing its status as a flagship project within Morocco’s modern business landscape.
