An administrative complex certified Passivhaus
This Global Performance Public Contract, delivered in December 2023, is exemplary in terms of sustainable construction: the buildings are Passivhaus certified and achieve a level 3 bio-based building rating and a low carbon E2C1 rating.
The bioclimatic design has promoted energy savings and reduced heating and air conditioning costs while improving the living environment. The volumes have been designed to promote natural light and benefit from solar gain. Energy management is optimized thanks to the connection to the district heating network and the future district cooling network.
Prefabricated dry construction solutions were implemented: the project incorporates wood, notably 9,500 m² of CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) flooring.

A project focused on the comfort and well-being of staff and the public
The new administrative center in Amiens houses 18 administrative departments and 1,100 employees, a 900 m² inter-administrative restaurant, and a 15-place nursery with an adjoining garden.
The architecture of the three buildings is designed to be flexible, with modular interior layouts: the post-and-beam structure and removable partitions have been designed to allow for flexibility in the workspaces.
The architecture is also based on the concept of biophilia, i.e., the integration of living elements into the built environment, which translates into the use of wood in workspaces, the greening of walkways connecting buildings and outdoor spaces, etc.
Finally, the project blends harmoniously into the neighborhood thanks to a large part of the building facades being clad with glazed tiles. This material echoes, in a contemporary way, the brick that is omnipresent in Amiens.
