Modern offices respecting heritage at Monopolis
KARMAR, Bouygues Bâtiment International’s Polish subsidiary, delivered a prestigious office project within the Monopolis complex in Łódź, Poland. The scope included the construction of a 12-storey new-build office tower (Building A2) and the fit-out of an existing three-storey office building (Building A3) with a reinforced concrete structure.
The architectural design by Group 5 Architects blends modernity and history, with façades finished in glass and corten steel: materials carefully chosen to harmonise with the Monopolis complex’s historic character. The building offers high functionality and flexibility for tenants, with a usable area of 8,618 m² and total gross area of 15,047 m², supported by one underground floor.
The building A2 received a BREEAM Excellent certificate, confirming the high technical and environmental standards maintained by Karmar S.A. during construction.
